With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gwynn Howard Burwell of Roanoke, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Ophelia Burwell; his sisters, Crystal Burwell and Gazetta Noel; and his sister-in-law Deborah Burwell.
He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Turner Burwell; his children, Jonathan, Donovan Burwell and Nikki Wright; his brothers, Marlon (Slug) and Michael Burwell (Jenny); his stepson Devin Turner (Kayla); and his grandsons, Braxton and Brysen Turner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1001 Franklin Rd SW, Roanoke, VA 24016).
