She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Schaefer and Georgetta Schaefer; her brothers, Bob and Bill of Port Washington; and her significant other Carl Attison Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Linda M. Bishop (April) of Roanoke, VA, Richard W. Bishop (Ann) of Midlothian, VA and Karen Bishop Beck of Anderson, SC; her grandson Justin T. Bishop (Luda) of Henrico, VA; her great grandchildren, Emory T. Bishop and Cormac Turner of North Chesterfield, VA.; and her son-in-law Leslie M. Beck.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
