She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas W. Jones; her parents, Joe V. Fisher and Mamie Brinchfield Fisher; her son Terry Lynn Parris; her siblings, Doris Robbin, Jean Ingram, Frances Whitfield, Yvonne Fisher Woods, Cynthia Vann and George Hayden; and her son-in-law Ronald Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Welch (Connie) of Roanoke, VA, Laverne Johnson of Roanoke, VA, Rosa Welch of Roanoke, VA, Daphine Parris of Roanoke, VA and Leonard Alexander of Glendale, AZ; her siblings, Claudine Thompson of Ellicott, MD, Mytice Freeman of Bronx, NY, Lorenzia Fisher of Arlington, TX, Joyce Spivey (Jack) and Wendell Hayden of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Dewayne Alexander, Belinda Alexander, Mark Alexander, Michael Welch, Mark Welch, Tony Perez Welch, Marlo Parris, Andre Parris, Teon Parris, Monika Parris, Donita Parris of Yudora Alexander, J. R and Reynolds; and her adoptive mother Nora Jean Tabor. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
