She was predeceased by: her husband Kelly C. Funk; her parents, Virgil A. Thompson and Elsie G. Swim Thompson; and her brother Kyle H. "Holly" Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Ronald L. "Butch" Crotty (Tammy) of Roanoke, VA, Karen S. Grieshaber (Jon) of Vinton, VA and Deborah G. "Debbie" Sperry (William L. "Rocky") of Bluefield, WV; and her brother V. "Allen" Thompson (Norene) of Brevard, NC. She is also survived by three nieces; three nephews; many friends and cousins.
