He is survived by: his wife Pho; his children, Ann Despeines (Wil Despeines), Chi Nguyen (Tuan Nguyen), Minh Nguyen (Hau Nguyen) and Thanh Nguyen (Ha Nguyen); and his grandchildren, Roman Despeines, Vera Despeines, Freya Despeines, Quynh Tran, Long Tran, David Nguyen, Alexandria Nguyen and Angelina Nguyen.
