She was predeceased by: her son Joseph Robert Burge, Jr.; and her parents, Sallie Wilson and Calvin Wilson. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Jo Burge and Sheri Carter (Richard); her grandchildren, Josh Carter (Maygen) and Kristen Schoonover (Ron); her great grandchildren, Vincent, Memphis and Sterling; and her family Virginia Baptist.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Memory Gardens (38659 Gov George C. Peery Hwy, Bluefield, VA 24605).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Tree Family Services or Good Samaritan Hospice.
