The memory of Carl Joseph Brown of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 64, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Brown and Linda Spradlin Musick; his stepfather James W. "Jimmy" Musick Jr.; his significant other Debra Lynn Poff Brown; and his nephew Justin Eric Tingler.

He is survived by: his children, Kendall Anne Brown (Garrett) and Devin Michael Brown; his sisters, Jill R. Acker (Barry) and Jami L. M. Tingler (Eric); his niece Maggie L. Gallimore; his nephews, Jacob Light, Brandon Acker and James Tingler; his parents-in-law, Bill R. and Joyce D. Poff; his sister-in-law Dana Poff Light; and his friends, Tommy Miller and Donnie Page. He is also survived by several aunts, an uncle, numerous cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (305 E Washington Ave, Vinton, VA 24179). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
