She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Sanford Atkinson and Mary Currin Givens Atkinson; her husband James "Jim"; and her grandmother Trout. She is survived by: her daughter Ann Carper Charlton; her sister Ann; her brother-in-law Roy Bolling; and her nephew Jay Bolling.
