Though Annette may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Annette touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pat McCarty; and her parents, Philip Ramsey and Vivian Ramsey. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Hayes (Brian) and John McCarty (Nathan McCarty); her granddaughter Emily Hayes; and her sisters, Pamela Ramsey and Dr. Stefanie Ramsey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179).
