He is survived by: his wife Anne Crable Hurt; and his children, David Edgar Hurt and Anne Hurt Krieg (Kenneth).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rescue Mission, Feeding Southwest Virginia, or Bradley Free Clinic.
