He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Carter of Fredericksburg, Duane Carter (Lashaunda) of Culpeper and Daniel Smith of Culpeper; his grandchildren, Raequon Carter, Darian Smith, Dontrell Carter and Naveyha Smith; his aunts, Vivian Thompson of Culpeper and Blondell White (Harry) of Rixeyville; his nephews, David and Lamont; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Indya, Cy'Asia, Aarianna, McKinley Aniylah, Akierra, Ishon, Dondre, Qur, Da'karai and Jaiden; his cousins, Larry Thompson, Darrell Thompson, Penny White, Paris White and Jackie Glascoe; his close friend Betty Turner; and also Harlem.
