Sara Frances White Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Frances White of Rixeyville, Virginia, born in Culpeper, Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lee and Mary Frances Lee; her husband Melvin Douglas White, Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Lee, Phyllis Gray, Raymond White, Ted Gray and Eugene of Washington; and her nephew Larry.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Francetta White (Tyrone Chase), Melvin Douglas White, Jr. (Sherry), Audrey Lee White, Michele Monique Shanks (Calvin), Eric Alan White (Tisha) and James Woodson; her brothers, Samuel Lee, Jr., George William Lee (Betty) and Clarence Hunter (Sheila); her grandchildren, Brittany (David Gonzalez), Taylor, Melody, Dominique, Kahayla, Chasity, Casey, Alesha, Justin, Erinn, Shemeika, Tameika, James, Jr. and Tyisha; her great grandchildren, Zion, Laylani, Sydney, Denim, Jiovonni and Jayden; her siblings-in-law, Phillip Lloyd White (Inez), Robert White (Sharon), Marian Audrey White of Washington and Dorothy Simpson; and her close friends, Grace Clark, Marian of Washington, Alberta Paige and Betty Dean. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
