He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Parrish and Edward Parrish Jr.; his brothers, Alexander (Connie), Edward III (Dawson) and Charles (Suzie); his sons, Edward IV "Ned" (Jessica), Samuel "Sam" (Sarah), Maxwell "Max" (Ryan) and Henry "Gus" (Taylor); and his grandchildren, Sully, Edward V "Teddy", Violet, Leo, Jack and Evan.

He is survived by: his former wife Susan Parrish.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to glioblastoma research.
