She was predeceased by: her parents, Seymour Thompson and Mary Thompson (Kyle M. Peters, Jr.). She is survived by: her brothers, Ron Walter (Jan), Delmer Walter (Linda), Ed Walter (Nancy) and Darrel Walter; her children, Michael L. Peters (Lisa), Kyle M. Peters, III (Wanda) and Mary Peters Gibson (Greg); her grandchildren, Drew Peters, Kelsey Peters, Stephanie Peters, Kyle M. Peters, IV and Kristen Peters; and her pet Lizzy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Oak Shade United Methodist Church (16496 Oak Shade Road, Rixeyville, VA 22737).
