He is survived by: his children, Roger Shepherd, Shannon Mosley, Teresa Sermeno (Rudy), Herbert Chase (Corine) and Megan Chase; his grandchildren, Shanel Ramey, Darin Morgan, Kahleel, Bladen, Jeremiah, Josiah, Kyrie, Kaiden, Hope, Faith Chase, May, Eliana, Rosalina Sermeno, Anaya Nokes, Zenecka, Samantha, Keena, Zeniya and Jawon Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Nehemiah Jones, McKinley, Carson, Kayla, Tyrese, Taylor, Zak and Caleb; his siblings, Ronnie James, Coretta James, Bernard James (Katie) and Patricia Thornton; his close friends, Beverly Jones and Cassie Grayson; and his cousin Ernest Shepherd. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
