With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elzie Leon Compton of Rixeyville, Virginia, born in Culpeper, Virginia, who passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Compton and Ethel Compton; his wife Ginger; and his siblings, Patricia Byfield and Harold Compton.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Compton (Gina) of Richmond, Angie Lines (John) of Culpeper and Kenny Compton of Rixeyville; and his siblings, David Compton (Margaret) and Debbie Brooks (Ron). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in Leon's honor to Children's Bible Ministry of VA, 22338 Arrowhead Trail, Stevensburg, VA 22741.
