With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawn Harms Rutledge of Rixeyville, Virginia, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Reynolds Harms and Francis Arlene Buchanan Harms; and her brother Peter. She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Emily and Randolph; her siblings, Timothy, Jennifer and Adam; and her friend Echo Dell.
