He is survived by: his sons, Steve Goolsby (Patsy) and Donny Goolsby (Stacy); his grandchildren, Bradley Goolsby, Marcus Goolsby, Brandon Goolsby and Christian Goolsby; his daughter Denese Gold; and his siblings, Charlene Hitt (Bo), Harrison Goolsby, Faye Smith (Rick), Bradley Goolsby (Brenda) and Robin Jeffries (Roger).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Danny's name to the American Legion Post 330 at 14222 Rixeyville Road, Culpeper, VA 22701.
