It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Richard Jenkins Jr. of Rixeyville, Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Pearson Brooks and Billy Richard Jenkins, Sr.; his stepfather Samuel Brooks; and his siblings, Alice Marks, Tony Brooks and Jeff Jenkins.

He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his daughters, Natisha Somerville (Sean), Laurie Pullen (Brian) and Angie Frazier (Wade); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Scott, Taryn Pullen, Kaeli Sheads (Blake), Tyler Frazier, Braden Somerville, Camden Scott, Ty Pullen and Merci Pullen; his siblings, Susie Wright (Jimmy), Emily Wilson, Paul Jenkins, Kenny Brooks, Mark Brooks (Noel), Bart Brooks (Kyra), Michael Brooks, Christy Hensley and Maryanne Tinder Osborne; and his stepmother Laura Hunsberger Hamilton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.

Rick exemplified 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 as a cheerful giver donating to Christian radio stations, church youth fundraisers, local Christian schools and boundless other organizations.
