It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Wilson Wilburn of Ripplemead, Virginia, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Wilburn and Lena Bowles Wilburn; his wife Irene Mullins Wilburn; his daughter-in-law Gina Wilburn; and his siblings, Charles Wilburn, Helen Gautier and Mary Williams.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Wilburn of Roanoke and Randall Wilburn of Ripplemead, VA; his grandchildren, Grant Wilburn (Katherine) and Grace Elliott (Randall); and his great grandchildren, Willow Elliott and Hazel Elliott.
The family would like to respectfully request that all visitors and family in attendance wear protective masks and practice social distancing as practical for the safety and wellbeing of all in attendance.
