He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Thompson and Nancy Cook Thompson; his sons, Brandon Lee Thompson and Justin Scott Thompson; his grandson Roland James Thompson; his sister Kathy Thompson of Pulaski, VA; and his close friends, Lacy Talbert and Katherine Midkiff.
