It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Meredith Eaton of Ripplemead, Virginia, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Meredith and Raymond Meredith; her siblings, Floyd "Bud" Meredith, Raymond "Sonny" Meredith and Elsie Dowdy; and her daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Hixon.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Doug" Eaton; her daughter Tammy Roach; her sisters, Carol Jean "Curly" Morrison, Helen "Margie" Scott and Dorence Simpson; her grandchildren, William Hixon (Danielle Bratsis), Daniel Roach, Cassandra Dirico (Alex Dirico) and Jacob Roach; and her great grandchildren, Desirai, Aubbie Hughes and Wyatt Hixon.
