He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Morris and Barbara Mae Ford Morris; and his siblings, Edwin Morris and Elizabeth Adkins. He is survived by: his spouse Marion Creasy Morris of Virginia; his sons, Rufus Weldon Morris, Jr. (Paula), Stacy Todd Morris (Wendy) and Michael Allison Morris (Angela); his grandchildren, Matthew Morris (Ashley), Amanda Lloyd (Charlie), Zachary Morris (Brianna), Walker Morris (Sarah Jo), Mikayla Morris (Cody) and Jonathan Patterson (Haley); his great grandchildren, Rhett Patterson, Riley Patterson, Chloe Lloyd and Sarah Lloyd; his brother Lawrence Morris; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Echols and Debbie Root. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
