She is survived by: her husband Arvin Lee Scearce, Jr.; her children, Robert Dale Stump (Beth) of Alton, VA and Sharon Scearce Davis (David) of South Boston, VA; and her siblings, Ruby Wise of Danville, VA, Reginia Gillispie, Dianne Marshall of Pembroke, VA and Donald Marshall (Donna) of Gaffney, SC. She is also survived by five granddaughters, two grandsons, and one great-grandson.
