With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lenore Elaine Peterson of Ringgold, Virginia, born in Wilcox, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Peterson and Vera Bennett Peterson; and her friends, Lois McCausey and Brenda Turpin. She is survived by: her children, Jim Irons (Julie) of Erie, PA, Jennifer Phinney (Mark) of Williamsburg, VA and Jessica South (George "Peanut" Perdue) of Ringgold, VA; her grandchildren, Kendra, Kylar Irons, Megan and Bradley Phinney; and her son Cody Taylor of Smethport, PA..

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made to one of her favorite causes the Danville Area Humane Society.
