He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Paul Gibson, Sr. and Janie Brumfield Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Fry Gibson; his daughter Brandy Gibson Payne of Danville; his stepson Michael Ray Alfred (Ruth Lee Alfred) of North Carolina; his siblings, Vivian Ranson, Page May, Mary Lee Gibson, Pam Schmidt, Paul Gibson and Michael Gibson; his granddaughter Erin Janie Payne; and his stepgrandsons, Caleb Micah Alfred and Jacob Gabriel Alfred.
