It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Womack Hearp of Ringgold, Virginia, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Cundiff and Rachel Cundiff; and her husband Douglas Ray Hearp. She is survived by: her son Donnie Womack; her siblings, Rachel Lee Jefferson (Tommy), Richard Cundiff (Linda), Kent Cundiff (Gale) and Paul Cundiff (Patsy Thomas); her grandchildren, Lauren Womack and Dalten Womack; her stepdaughter Jenny Hearp Hendrix (Jim); and her stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie Hearp and Layland Hearp. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
