We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2024, at the age of 64, Janice Lumpkin of Ringgold, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Janice had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Janice may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin O. Neal and Lois Mills Neal; and her son Howard Wade Lumpkin, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Howard Wade Lumpkin Sr.; her children, Martin Lumpkin, Neal Lumpkin, Kenneth Lumpkin and Janice Lumpkin; her grandchildren, Howard Wade Lumpkin III and Elizabeth Lumpkin; and her sister Pamela Neal. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Home (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
