She was predeceased by: her father William Butler Gillie; her husband Oscar Champ Giles; and her siblings, Wilbur Gillie and Marion Estelle Gillie. She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Buntin (Watson) of Danville, Linda Carol Luck (Bobby) of Danville, Janice Giles (Tony Setliff) of Ringgold and Kimberly Sally (Garey) of Danville; her granddaughter Angela Hughes Frazier (Jody); and her great grandchildren, Zachary Brinkley, Kaitlyn Brinkley, Matthew Frazier and Michael Frazier.
