He was predeceased by: his parents, Clellie Ellington Goad Lynch and Lee Leonard Goad; and his siblings, Bobby Goad and Eva Goad. He is survived by: his daughter Dianna Mitchell (Jeff) of Eden; his siblings, Henry Goad, Nadine West and Gayle Fleming; his sister-in-law Joyce; his grandchildren, Brad Goad, Jeffrey Mitchell, Jr., Russell Mitchell and Gina Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Xzavier Goad, Kriztoph Goad, Arianna Cahill, Gwendolyn Goad, Zander Maurakis and Alissa Mitchell.
