Cecile Shields Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecile Shields (Ringgold, Virginia), who passed away on October 16, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clinton Thompson and Alice Gregory Thompson. She is survived by : her spouse Billy Neal Shields; her son Stephen Neal Shields (Beth) of Columbia, MD; her brothers, Gene Thompson (Clarice) of Wilmington, DE and Leonard Thompson (Joyce) of Columbia, MD; her grandchildren, Skye Shields, Alia Shields and Michaela Shields; her nephews, Rob Thompson and Alan Thompson; and her niece Laura Thompson.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made to Lakewood Community Church, 129 Clarks Mill Road, Ringgold, VA 24586.
