She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Myers of Danville, VA and Thelma Ellis (Joe) of Clayton, NC; her stepdaughter Valerie Bonds of Washington, DC; her sons, Arvin Hood (Regina) of Danville, VA, Albert Hood of Danville, VA and Shawn Grasty of Richmond, VA; her stepson Dennis W. Grasty of Washington, DC; and her siblings, Josephine Perkins of Danville, VA, Norman Williams, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Ringgold, VA and Eddie Williams (Allison) of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
