We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2020, at the age of 81, Ray Lester of Riner, Virginia, born in Pulaski, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ray E. Lester; and his sister Carol Lee Morrison. He is survived by: his mother Bernadine Groseclose Lester; his wife Joyce Bane Lester; his sons, Ray E. "Les" Lester, III (Beverly) and Mark Bane Lester; his grandchildren, Brennan Lester Stevenson (Rob), Annah Lester Wilson (Luke), Abigail Dawn Lester and Kayley Beth Lester; his stepgrandchildren, Carli and Maria Hatch; his great grandchild Aiden Robert Stevenson; his sister Kathy Lester Hall (Spencer); and his close friend Wayne Brockenbrough.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
