He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Lee and Goldie Boyd Nolen. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kieley Nolen; his son Ryan (Courtney); his grandchildren, Madison, Jackson and Ella; and his siblings, Jane Nolen OKeeffe and Steve Nolen.
