He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Reed and Quincy Reed. He is survived by: his children, Charles (Kathy), Rickey (Kim), Ronald (Tina) and Cindy Reed of Riner, Virginia; his brother James (Buelah) of Christiansburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ray (Andrew), Daniel Reed (Meg), Scott Reed (Amber), Andrew Reed (Elizabeth), Chelsea Sale (Zack), Reba Wheeler and Noah Reed; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Linkous (Joyce) of Christiansburg and Bonnie Puckett (Johnny) of Christiansburg, Virginia; and his close friend Darlene Phillips (Allen). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, four special nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bible Holiness Church in Christiansburg, the Alzheimer's Association; or the Dementia Society.
