It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Willis Karickhoff (Riner, Virginia), born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Camden and Wilma Pauline Karickhoff (Casto). He is survived by: his wife Donna Kay Karickhoff; his brother Paul Karickhoff (Patricia) of French Creek, WV; his children, Julia Shaffer (Doug) of Berryville, VA, Amy Mawyer (Rick) of Charles Town, WV, Laura Swope (Eugene) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Thomas Karickhoff of Martinsburg, WV; and his stepchildren, Thomas Mauk (Sheila) of Lake Placid, FL, Terri Mauk of Christiansburg, VA, Diane Mauk of Martinsburg, WV and Edward Mauk (Holly) of Butler, PA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riner Grace Brethren Church or the American Cancer Society.
