He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ray Mabe; his son Kenny Mabe; and his siblings, Weldon Mabe, Watson Mabe, Melvin Mabe, Maggie Mabe, Fannie Marshall and Bunch King.
He is survived by: his sons, Keith "Zero" Mabe (Rene) and Kevin Mabe; his grandchildren, Dakota Mabe, Will Mabe and Andrew Mabe; and his brother Wes Mabe (Faye) of Stokes County.
