He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Frank and Minnie Crawford Payne; his wife Leanna Payne; his children, Caryn Hirtriter (Chris) of Harrisonburg, VA, Jessica Hamilton (Jayson) of Harrisonburg, Rachel Mann (Branham) of Houston, TX and Chris Payne of Harrisonburg; his siblings, Shirley Schifflett, Maxine Sellers, Louise Hawl and Malcolm Payne; his grandparents, Bud and Ollie Stump; and his aunt Linda Fischer.
