She was predeceased by: her husband Dewitt Howlett; and her siblings, Ted Barker and Shirley Knight. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Dewitt Howlett of Eden and Susan Howlett White (William "Ken") of Boiling Springs; her grandchildren, Drew Stephens of Charlotte, Kayla White of Charlotte and Aaron White of Raleigh; and her siblings, Betty Martin (Bill) of Eden, Eddie Barker (Lou Anne) of Eden and Phil Barker (Pamela) of Eden.
