She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Clay and Georgia Conway Bryant; and her siblings, H. W. Bryant and Edna Shively. She is survived by: her sons, Herman Clay Bryant (Barbara) of Edenton, Bryant D. Lemons (Azile) of Reidsville and Kenneth M. Lemons of Eden. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
