She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry C. Adkins and Destie H. Smith Adkins; her daughters, Donna Alvey and Gloria Marshall; her daughter-in-law Karen Marshall; and her sister Dorothy Nance.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Marshall; her son-in-law Sonny Alvey; and her daughters, Sharon Smith, Judy Epling (Jerry) and Debbie Clark (Roy). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Horsepasture Christian Church (1146 Horsepasture Price Rd, Ridgeway, VA 24148).
