He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis Eanes and Hettie Burgess Eanes; and his siblings, Jimmy Eanes, Fred Lee Eanes and Rebecca Kendrick.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Eanes; his son Mark Eanes (Caroline) of Charleston, SC; his stepdaughter Kay Watson (Neill); his grandchildren, Lucy Eanes, David and Chelsey Watson; and his sisters, Idellis Stoots (James) and Pattie Horton (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County.
