He is survived by: his son Stanley LaVone Harris; his sisters, Leochi Hairston and Myrtle Marshall; his significant other Martha Jane Harris; and his close friends, Rhonda Moore and Desmond Prillaman. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
