He was predeceased by: his father Harlan Stigge; and his brother Jason Thurber. He is survived by: his son Ryan Ellis (Maggie) of Castlewood, VA; his mother Patricia Lemon Thurber (Dell) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Dakota and Sarissa Ellis; his brother Jeff Stigge (Brenda) of Lebanon, VA; and his close friend Roseann Howell.
