He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leo Agee, James Agee, Mary Hopkins and Beatrice Furr. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Watson Agee; his son Jason Leon Agee, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Stephanie of Fieldale; his grandchildren, Jason Leon Agee, Jr. of Fieldale, Emily June Agee of Fieldale and Hanna Lynn Agee of Fieldale; and his siblings, Ted Agee, Larry "Peanut" Agee, Patsy Hodges of Ridgeway, Doris Wilson of Axton and Margaret Riggs of Martinsville.
