She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Joyce and Maggie Gunter Joyce; and her husband Matthew "Mack" Roberts. She is survived by: her son Tim Roberts (Lori) of Eden; her grandchildren, Jessica Jones (Randy) of Eden, Jeff Roberts of Greensboro and James Hall (Virginia) of Eden; and her great grandchild Remington Jones.
