It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Stanley of Ridgeway, Virginia, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Thomas Stanley and Cynthia Mattie Grayson Stanley; and his siblings, Elma Elizabeth Stokes, Thomas Grayson Stanley and Jann Mitchell Stanley.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Murphy Stanley; his daughter Beth Stanley Lawson; his sisters, Janet Carter and Cynthia Hill; his grandchildren, Grayson Reid Lawson, Joshua Gage Lawson and Alexander Christian Lawson; and his pet Little Annie.
