We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2013, at the age of 93, Rhuney Patterson Murphy (Ridgeway, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Patterson and Cora Frye Patterson; her husband Booker Issac Murphy; and her siblings, Marvin Ray Patterson (Pat), George Douglas Patterson and Mazzie Patterson Rodden.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Shewmaker (David) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, George T. Murphy, Sr. (Cecelia) of Bethany and Linda Pauls (Jim) of Dallas, Oregon.; her grandchildren, Carrie Shewmaker Selby (Michael), Kathy Shewmaker, Tom Murphy, Will Murphy, Abe Pauls and David Pauls; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zachary and Linzie Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the hospital.
