It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Thacker of Ridgeway, Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Grant Hughes and Edna Light Hughes; and her brothers, Albert Hughes and Maynard Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie F. Thacker; her children, Marsha Davis (Mark) and Kevin F. Thacker (Rebekah); her sisters, Verna Johnston and Judy Morrison; and her grandchildren, Christian Davis (Angela), Rebecca Davis Lumpkin (Nick), Madison Davis Bruce (Tristan) and Samuel Davis. She is also survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
