With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Samuel Alverson (Ridgeway, Virginia), who passed away on December 16, 2010. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wesley and Pauline Mitchell Alverson; and his brother Sherman Alverson. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Meadows Alverson; his sons, Bobby DeMent "Alverson" of Eden, Mike Alverson (JoAnn) of Eden and Joey Wayne Alverson of Eden; his sister Shirley Wright of Ridgeway, VA; his stepsiblings, Libby Rea of Rocky Mount, VA, Eugene Alverson of Collinsville, VA and Billy Alverson of Stuart, VA; his grandchildren, Tyler Alverson, Brittany DeMent and Caitlin Rierson; and his great grandchild Eli Layton Rierson.
